Rutchanee has completed numerous investment banking transactions in the areas of M&A, distressed assets, corporate finance, and capital markets. Her accomplishments included the initial public offerings of Prinsiri Plc., PTG Energy Plc. and Sea Oil Plc., Baht 5,200 million tender offer for Bank of Asia Plc.’s shares by United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB), the tender offer and delisting of UOB Radanasin Bank Plc. in accordance with the consolidation plan of UOB’s commercial bank subsidiaries in Thailand, the tender offer and delisting of United Overseas Bank (Thai) Plc., Baht 836 million sale of 71.64% shareholding in Metrostar Property Plc., USD 12 million mezzanine financing for Siam Paper Plc., fairness opinions on various assets acquisitions and dispositions, connected transactions, tender offer and delisting and whitewash requests, and the acquisition of over NT$ 100 billion non-performing loans from Hsin Chu Bank, Cosmo Bank and First Commercial Bank in Taiwan by Lone Star in 2002. In addition, she has extensive experience on the due diligence and analysis of various types of real estate and distressed assets in Thailand, including many buildings in the CBD area, housing projects and distressed assets of many commercial banks and life insurance companies.
She started her career at Nakornthon Bank Plc. as a budget and planning officer in 1993. Before joining Sage Capital, Rutchanee had more than 20 years of experience in finance and banking positions with various leading financial firms such as ABN AMRO Securities Plc., Aberdeen Asset Management, Lone Star Asia-Pacific Investments Limited (a US-based private equity fund), SCB Advisory Services, and Poonpipat Finance and Securities.
Rutchanee received a B.Sc. degree from Chulalongkorn University and an M.B.A. degree in finance from National Institution of Development Administration (NIDA).
